The "berries" are not edible. Place in bright indirect light or filtered sunlight, does tolerate early morning and late afternoon direct sun but is susceptible to sunburn. Needs well drained soil, keep moderately dry. Feed monthly during the growing season with a high phosphorus fertilizer. If grown outdoors, best to protect when temps reach low 40's.
